Overview

We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Contemporary Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contemporary dance and a passion for teaching. As a Contemporary Dance Instructor, you will inspire and guide students through various dance techniques, choreography, and creative expression.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality contemporary dance classes for students of different age groups and skill levels.
  • Develop and implement creative and engaging choreography for performances and showcases.
  • Stay current with dance trends and techniques to ensure the curriculum remains innovative and relevant.
  • Promote the studio’s values and maintain a professional and respectful demeanor with students and parents.

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in contemporary dance with a minimum of 3 years of training and performance experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience teaching dance to students of varying ages and skill levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
  • Ability to create and implement effective lesson plans.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $30.00 – $60.00 per hour
