Contemporary Dance Instructor (Competitive Program)
Deep Dance Studio is looking for a passionate and experienced Contemporary Dance Instructor to join our growing competitive program for the 2026–2027 season, starting in August 2026.
We are searching for a teacher who loves working with young dancers, values strong technical training, and knows how to inspire students both artistically and emotionally.
What You’ll Do
Teach Contemporary Dance classes for dancers ages 7+
Train and prepare students for competitive performances and stage productions
Develop dancers’ technique, artistry, flexibility, strength, and performance quality
Create a positive, disciplined, and inspiring classroom environment
Collaborate with our teaching team during performances, rehearsals, and productions
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience
Strong background in Contemporary Dance training
Experience with competitive dance programs and performance preparation
Solid technical foundation in:
Classical Ballet
Jazz Technique
Contemporary Dance
Conditioning & Stretching
Ability to work with children and teens in a motivating and professional way
Passion for mentorship, creativity, and artistic development
