Overview
Crescendo Conservatory is seeking a creative, energetic, and reliable dance professional to join our team to teach primary hip hop and intermediate jazz. Our classes are taught by skilled teachers, and we pride ourselves on age-appropriate music and movement. Our focus is to generate a love for dance as a performing art. Our studio is committed to teaching all levels and ages in the areas of ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, tap, and primary hip hop.
Skills and Abilities:
· Punctuality
· Must have a high energy level to match our students, excellent presentation and professionalism and a thorough knowledge of jazz dance.
· Positive attitude and genuine love for teaching kids
· Responsiveness with emails and other communications
· Minimum of 1-2 years teaching experience
· Dance degree and/or experience as a professional dancer
· Choreographic skills- ability to choreograph year end recital dances
· Versatility – someone who enjoys teaching everyone – from our tiny dancers to our advanced teenagers.
· Availability to teach Tuesday 6:00-8:30
