Temporary, Part-time
Schedule0-1-10 hours per week, including overtime.
Pay Rate-$20.00 – $25.00 per hour.
This position can work with students from ages 3 through ages 18 based on class schedule. Experience working with students of varying backgrounds and abilities is required. Students will range from beginner to intermediate/advanced; some pointe work may be required as students progress
Extensive teaching experience in Ballet technique is required. Experience choreographing dances for student recitals and showcases is required. Experience managing large class sizes preferred.
Extensive background in Ballet and Ballet education is required. College completion or in progress preferred.
Lead Ballet classes and guide dancer development throughout the course. Choreograph a routine to be performed in student showcases (Dec/April). Communicate supply/costume needs to supervisor(s) on time. Provide input on the program to supervisor(s) where appropriate. Working with other Hip Hop/dance faculty to coordinate performance/rehearsal logistics may be required. Training and familiarization with EPACT (attendance/participant medical information) will be required at the time of hire.
