Overview
Chipinaw & Silver Lake’s Dance program is multi-faceted. We run dance classes within our daily program that focus on both introduction and refinement of dance skills. We look to have our campers exposed to both traditional dance techniques, as well as current dance and hip-hop trends. Each camp will also form dance teams to compete in dance competitions against other camps. Our Dance Program Director should have an extensive dance background, as well as a background working with children.
Our Dance Director will oversee two dance instructors and assists them in teaching and running our dance classes. Our daily program is six 55 minute classes each day. With additional Dance Elite classes at night to work with all four dance teams.
This is a two month summer contract. Full room and board is provided with private accommodations. Salary dependent on experience but can range between $2,000-$2,500 monthly. The dates needed for the Dance Program Director position are from June 16th to August 14th.
