British Dance Academy is looking for two passionate and experienced Dance Teachers with a strong Ballet background to join our team in Dubai.

We are looking for motivated, energetic and professional teachers who are passionate about developing students, delivering high-quality dance training and creating a positive and inspiring studio environment.

As the exclusive BBO Dance approved examination centre in the UAE, candidates must have strong Ballet teaching experience and be confident preparing students for examinations.

The Role
The main purpose of the Dance Teacher is to educate, instruct, inspire and guide students to reach their full potential as dancers, foster a love and appreciation for dance, act as a professional role model and contribute to the continued development of British Dance Academy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver high-quality dance classes across a range of ages and ability levels, including group and private classes.
  • Teach examination syllabi in their entirety and prepare students to a high standard for examinations.
  • Prepare students for competitions, the Annual Concert, community performances and other performance opportunities.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate classes that support technical development and progression.
  • Continuously assess student ability, identify and correct technical errors and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and professional studio environment where students are motivated to learn and progress.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver dance camps, birthday parties, workshops and other academy activities.
  • Maintain positive relationships and communication with students, parents and the BDA team.
  • Attend training, workshops and meetings as required and ensure compliance with academy policies, procedures, safeguarding requirements and professional standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years’ dance teaching experience, with a strong Ballet background.
  • Professional Ballet training and a recognised Ballet teaching qualification and/or degree in Dance, Performing Arts or a related field.
  • Strong experience teaching students across different ages and ability levels.
  • Experience teaching examination syllabi and preparing students for Ballet examinations.
  • Excellent technical knowledge, classroom management and communication skills.
  • Professional, reliable, positive and passionate about dance education and student development.

Job Details
Location: Dubai, UAE
Contract Duration: 2 years, renewable
Compensation: Competitive salary + commission
Work Hours: Full-time, up to 42 hours per week
Medical Insurance: Provided
Joining Date: January 2027
