Position Overview:
The Studio Floater is a key member of our staff who provides support across many areas of the studio. This versatile position ensures that our classes and front desk operations run smoothly, while helping create a welcoming and organized atmosphere for our families.

Responsibilities:

Greet dancers and families, and provide assistance at the front desk when needed
Help children transition in and out of class with ease and confidence
Support teachers in the classroom, offering an extra set of hands during activities and lessons
Step in as a substitute teacher when needed (training and resources provided)
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming studio environment
Provide general support to staff and students during busy class times, rehearsals, and events
Ensure smooth communication between staff, students, and families
Requirements:

Must be available to work weekends
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Experience working with children preferred
Background in dance, education, or related fields a plus
Dependable, flexible, and eager to jump in where needed
Ability to maintain a professional, positive, and supportive presence in the studio

Hours & Pay:

Part-time position with weekend availability required
Competitive hourly pay based on experience

About Bethesda Conservatory of Dance

Bethesda Conservatory of Dance is a growing Dance studio in the heart of Woodmont Triangle. Our school has an emphasis on love of the art of dance in a child centered-technically driven environment. We are in need of a virsatile teacher  and apprentice teacher to work with dancers 12 and under.   There is a strong potential for a permanent Faculty position offer for the right candidate.  Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree.
