Ballet Teacher – Ages 3-8 / Primary Division

Overview

Bay Area Ballet Conservatory is looking to hire 1-2 teachers to join our Primary Division Faculty Summer 2024 and  2024-2025 School Session (August 19 – June 8). Pay is dependent on experience and competitive.  Candidates may be hired as early as April 2024 for in-class training.

Summer Session schedule includes Tuesday & Saturday position openings; June 24-28 Dance Camp (ages 7-10).

24/25 School Session schedule includes Tuesday, Saturday and possibly additional weekday openings.

Primary Division Classes Include:

Pre Ballet (ages 3-5)
Level 1A (5-7)
Level 1B (6-8)
Other responsibilities include recital class choreography, implementing school class plans / school syllabi, and communicating with the Director.

Candidates should be receptive to training and feedback and have an extensive classical ballet training background, great communication skills, reliable transportation, excellent classroom management skills and most importantly have a love for working with young children.
