Recreational Teacher Part-Time
At The Barre Dance Academy
Located just outside Rocky Mount, NC (around 45 minutes for Raleigh, NC)
At The Barre Dance Academy is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Recreational Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Recreational Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and nurture young dancers in a supportive and creative environment.
Job Title: Recreational Teacher (Part-Time)
Schedule: Weeknights in the late afternoon/evening
Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging dance classes for recreational students
– Choreograph age appropriate dances for our annual recital
– Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all dancers
– Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students
– Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues, regarding student development
– Participate in studio events and performances

Requirements:
– Minimum of 1 year teaching experience in dance
– Warm, friendly, and approachable demeanor
– Ability to connect with children and parents
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Passion for dance and teaching
– Possibility to working with our Competitive Dancers in the future!
