Overview
Local Non-Profit Organization seeking Dance Instructors (and assistants) for immediate hire to teach daily classes including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Rhythm & Movement, & Drill Prep. Any candidate that is also skilled in Cheer, would be a plus!
Must be passionate about dance with a strong concern for community development. Must be patient and love working with children. Must be dependable and have reliable transportation. Must have clean background.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Arrive 15 minutes prior to shift to prepare for class
Construct a weekly lesson plan
Create & implement fun activities relevant to class
Clean up after each class
Promote the studio & it’s programs
Qualifications:
Passion for Dance and working with children
1 year teaching experience
Strong ability for parent communication
Background in program and lesson plan development
Understanding of class management and teaching methods
