Overview
All In Dance Academy is looking for a ballet instructor to work with our older/more advanced students one night per week for our 2023-2024 season.
Opened in 2021 and voted Best of Durham in 2022, All In Dance Academy is growing fast and we need an advanced ballet instructor to continue to push our students in their development. Possible classes offered include advanced ballet, pre-pointe, and pointe.
Start date for our 2023-2024 season will be in August, with possible opportunities for masterclass and summer hours before our season begins.
Responsibilities
- Develop dance curriculums and prepare lesson plans.
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
- Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Choreograph routines and select music for recital.
- Opportunities for private lessons upon request.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of ballet and pointe.
- Previous teaching experience required.
- Previous ballet choreography experience required.
