URGENT HIRE…..Established dance studio seeking experienced full time dance instructor for all levels, beginner to advanced. Extensive dance training is required with an emphasis on ballet. The studio offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, modern and hip hop to recreational and competitive students. Experience in all or most genres and BFA in dance or dance education is highly recommended.
We are looking for a patient, yet energetic dance instructor who can create a positive and nurturing learning environment that inspires excellence and committment! Instructor must be capable of teaching safe techinque in an effective and encouraging manner.
A dance instructor with interest in the adminstrative side of a dance studio would be a plus for the studio. Our need is for the director to oversee the studio. The qualities we are looking for are team management skills, time management skills, client relationship skills, accounting skills and flexibiblity/adaptability skills.
Keeping records of customers and staff so that you can get in touch with them when needed. Marketing and advertising to help bring in new dancers to the studio. Being ready to resolve conflicts. Engaging your customer service skills on the phone and in person.
If you are dependable, people oriented, innovative, cooperative and collaborative, training for the director’s duties is possible.
