Job Summary:

As a Dance Teacher at PW Dance Studio, you will have the exciting opportunity to inspire and educate our students while sharing your passion for dance. This position offers a flexible schedule, competitive compensation, and the chance to choreograph recital performances throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching: Plan and conduct engaging and instructive dance classes in various styles such as Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, etc.
Choreography: Create and oversee choreography for class routines, performances, and recitals.
Student Development: Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their dance skills and technique.
Class Management: Maintain discipline, ensure a safe and respectful learning environment, and manage class logistics.
Communication: Keep open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding class schedules, progress, and studio events.
Continued Learning: Stay updated on current trends and developments in dance education to enhance teaching techniques and curriculum.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a dance teacher or instructor preferred.
  • Proficiency in the dance style(s) you will be teaching.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for dance and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Reliable and punctual.
