Seeking a Superstar Dance Teacher!
Do you love working your kids? Do you want to make a difference? Our established performing arts academy is seeking a positive and experienced person to join our team. We encourage a creative, fun, and energetic work environment. Enjoyment in teaching dance of a variety of styles, ability to communicate effectively, and flexibility in meeting individual student needs and goals is a must. We believe in building happy, healthy and responsible kids through art education.
Dance Teacher Opening – Looking for a commitment of at least 2 years with APA. We offer an hourly rate based on experience and education.
Current Openings:
Mondays 5pm-845pm Competitive Tech Ballet (Petite-Teen)
Mondays 6:15pm-8:45pm Competitive Tech Jazz (Petite/Junior)
Thursdays 430pm-730pm Rec classes for Grades 5th and younger (Poms, Ballet/Tap, Lyrical)
Saturdays 930am-1215pm Rec classes for littes (Ballet/Tap)
*If these days and times do not work, feel free to still submit your resume to be put on our substitute list and/or future sessions
Our Dance Teachers are responsible for:
~Creating lesson plans to meet each individual student’s needs and education goals
~inspire children by teaching dance lessons on a weekly basis
~Delivering quality instruction to a variety of ages and levels
~Selecting music and costumes for scheduled classes
~Choreographing age-appropriate dances for two showcases annually (winter and spring)
~Attending staff meetings and workshops as required
